Welcome to my Advanced Skin Care Department
What is advanced skin care? By the time you arrive at this page, you will have had, I hope, the opportunity to look through some of my other pages. There is, indeed, a bewildering array of skin care products available today and many of the brand names that you have seen on my website will probably be ones that you have never come across on supermarket shelves, or seen advertised on the television.
Nearly all the products that appear on this site were mainly designed for use by professional skin care practitioners and for use in salons. All the products that I sell here, are ones that have well constructed ranges for various skin types and contain useful amounts of active ingredients. Indeed, you may well have noticed that some products do carry warnings that they must not be used unless your skin type is suitable for the product and that you pay due heed to any instructions provided.
Now, we can move on....
Firstly, as many of the ranges on these pages are designed for exclusive use in professional salons - and some of the top salons as well, I do not want you to automatically assume that such and such a product will suit your skin type. Indeed, many of the product ranges that I include here also include (though I do not sell them on this website) products that are used exclusively by dermatologists in many, quite advanced, procedures.
The products I present in this section are quite specialised. We change away from the daily cleanse/ mositurise/ tone routine and look at dedicated skin care products to deal with specific conditions or requirements, such as acne and anti-ageing or for those of you that really want to take that extra bit of really special care to make sure that your skin looks and keeps that radiant, beautiful look.
Thirdly, these products are not cheap. I make no apologise for that. They are all products that have been the result of extensive trials, testing and have clinical evidence to support their construction and action. What you paying for in these products is for useful, effective content. What you are not paying for is expensive TV advertising and related marketing.
Finally, inclusion in this section does not, somehow, lessen the effect of the products that are in the main shop part of my skin care section. Indeed, many of the products listed in the main shop section should be covered in this section - DCL Skincare being a good example.
Fourthly, I would like you to remember the "chemical soup". Please think carefully about which products you want to use for your skin and how you wish to create your personal regieme. Mixing to many product types, even though each product is individually tested, does not mean that you will improve your skin quicker or more effectively. No-one has tested the infinite number of product variations and the effect that infinite number of variations may have!
I hope that you find on my site and in my online shop skin care to suit you but if you are at all unsure about suitability for your skin type or skin condition, you must vist your chosen healthcare practitioner.
