One new trend which made an appearance for Autumn at Paris Fashion week was kinky, crimped hair.

It is a big nod towards the eighties, like many upcoming autumn/winter beauty trends, and we can expect to see a lot of it in six months time.

Stylist Luigi Murenu used his crimping irons in full force at the Givenchy show and I have to say I really rather like this look. Keeping the hair sleek and flat at the top makes they style less bouffant and poodle-like, making it edgy and, dare I say it, rather elegant.

Murenu describes his hair creation to Vogue as ‘modern gothic’ which I think is spot on.
