Sixth Sense
The London beauty crowd are all in a flurry today with the arrival of Six Senses Spa at the towering Pan Peninsula building on Canary Wharf.
The new Asian-inspired spa, which opened it’s doors for the first time this morning, will no doubt see stressed city workers piling in for ‘The Bio-therm Circuit’; including some down time in a chromotherapy steam cabin, crystal laconium, dry sauna, sensory shower and finally a plunge in the hydrotherapy pool. Of course, all the usual salon treatments are also on offer from pedicures to back massages.
This luxury spa has been in the making a long time and it will be interesting to see how it copes in the credit crunch; my guess is those Canary Wharf bankers and lawyers will relish the opportunity for some office escapism.
Prices start at £50 for foot acupressure.
Six Senses Spa, 2 Pan Peninsula Square, E14 9HA (020 7531 2320 or sixsenses.com).
