Perfume Snob
I hate to admit it, but I’m something of a snob when it comes to perfume. I almost always choose fragrances created by design houses – right now I own John Galliano, Narciso Rodriquez and Salvatore Feragamo. I also adore the scents created by the real parfumiers though they are always a little out of my budget. One thing I would never ever splash on my wrists and neck is a celebrity scent. My reasons are two fold – the whole celebrity perfume bandwagon may have stared by a few famous people who genuinely had an interest in creating a trademark fragrance, but now it is just another way for the rich and famous to make money; it all feels a little lacking in soul. Secondly, I like to pretend that not many other people wear the same perfume that I do and when I smell like such a mass market brand this is very hard to do.
So, I’m interested. Are you a perfume snob like me?
