I’m Melting! I’m Melting!
It ain’t half hot at the moment, and my makeup is not enjoying this sticky humidity.
If your struggling with the warm weather as much as I am, consider switching your products around a bit in order to cope with the changing conditions.
The biggest and best change you can make it to start using a lighter foundation, or even better, a tinted moisturiser if your skin can manage it. The good thing about a tinted moisturiser is it won’t melt or turn patchy if it slides around. If you feel a bit too exposed using a tint, then invest in a great concealer for those little imperfections we worry about.
Even if you’re not planning to be going near water, a waterproof eyeliner and mascara is priceless when the weather is humid. Good versions will stand up to sweat as well as water.
To look more summery and add a glow to the skin, use a bronzer with a hint of shimmer. Apply it sparingly to the cheekbones, down the nose and at the top of the forehead for a naturally sun-kissed look.
Finally, apply a swipe of SPF balm to your lips to protect the delicate skin around the mouth and add a finishing touch to this whole look.
You’ll end up feeling much more comfortable, you’ll know that your makeup won’t slide off after five minutes and you’ll gorgeous too!
