If I’m completely honest, I just don’t get Beth Ditto. There’s such hype around fashion icons being unhealthy due to their small weight, I think it is just silly to decide that an unhealthy overweight woman is the answer to all the trouble. Surely there is some middle ground here..?

That said, she has really been pushing the boundaries lately with her beauty looks. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but she has a lot of fun with her hair and makeup.

This look is a prime example and while it’s certainly not something I would slap on my face, I admire her gutsy attitude.
