When I heard the news that Beverley Knight, pop soul singer, is moving in to cosmetics I thought, oh god yet another celebrity fragrance. I was delighted however to find out that she is in fact launching a cosmetics line for darker skins.

This isn’t the first time that a singer has launched a make up line specifically for skin tones, with Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud creating Dainty Doll for pale complexions. A range which was received very well.

The makeup will be called K by Beverley Knight and you can expect to see it in Selfridges from mid-September.
