With this week’s Fashion Fix post we’re looking at the upcoming trend for futuristic, space-age fashion.

Thanks to ultra-pricey design house Balmain everyone is going loopy for power shoulders, body-con dresses and sparkling silver. The high-street has picked up on this and started churning out futuristic looking dresses for the Autumn winter season, like this shiny little number from Asos.com.

I’m all for taking one aspect of a major trend like this and I would certainly add a bit of silver to an outfit, wear a figure-hugging dress or jazz up clothes with some big shoulder but all three? I’m not so sure.
