When it comes to getting my haircut I am inherently lazy. I have had so many disasters at hair salons that I dread going to the salon and tend to go every 4 months or so rather than the recommended 6 weeks. Well, I’ve finally booked myself in for a cut and colour later in the week, but it has been no mean feat trying to decide which salon to go to.

I thought about going to a luxury salon, but couldn’t justify the price. I thought about going to a cheap salon, but was scared of the outcome. I even thought about buying some hairdressing scissors but quickly snapped out of it. In the end, I settled for a moderately priced, independently owned salon close to where I live.
