French President, Sarkozy had a £250,000 shower built for him for a three day summit in Paris, it has been revealed.

The shower, which was specifically built to the president’s height (5ft 5in) featured air conditioning and a radio with surround sound.

Sarkozy however decided to shower elsewhere at the Elysee Palace and the shower was destroyed, like most things created for the conference, a few days later.

This isn’t the most eco thing I have ever heard and, considering the quarter of a million pound shower was paid for with European taxpayer’s money, hardly a good economical use either.
