Extended

Complaints have been made to the Advertising Standards Authority about the misleading images for the latest L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 haircare products commercial and print adverts starring Cheryl Cole.
The problem was raised because Cheryl is wearing hair extensions in the adverts, meaning that it gives a false impression of how nice the products can make your hair look. However, the complaints have been rejected due to the disclaimer in the commercials and the print ads which reads Cheryl’s hair is “styled with some natural extensions.”
This is not thoroughly portrayed though, and I had to admit feeling a bit annoyed on seeing these adverts as it gives false expectations of how everyday, normal women should look.
What do you think of Cheryl keeping her extensions for the ads?
