Quick Definition – Myofascial Release

The term myofascial release relates to physical therapy. It refers to a form of deep-tissue massage which stretches and releases bonds between connective tissues. The idea is, this provides healthier muscle alignment and a greater range of motion.

It has now become popular in anti-aging facial massages because some believe that stretching the fascia (the soft tissue that protects your muscles and organs) can help eliminate wrinkles and sagging in the face’s muscle structure or even just relieve tension to minimise fine lines.
