Following on from winter’s trend for green nail varnish, this spring you can expect so see the vibrancy turned up with turquoise.

Turquoise is set to be the big new nail trend next year, and luminous shades are already making their way into magazines and onto celebrity talons.

You can also expect to see it creeping into eyeshades – vivid eyeliners in particular.

Why the big new trend? it’s all sprouting from Pantone naming turquoise as their colour of the year for 2010 – a rich aqua shade.
