Beauty Definition – Noncomodogenic
A noncomedogenic product means that it won’t clog pores. There are no rules or regulations to follow when claiming a product as noncomodogenic, which means there’s no guarantee thast it wont cause pores to become blocked and congested. Keep these tips in mind to choose the right product for you.
- Products with heavy oils or waxes will not be noncomodogenic, so if it has anything like Olive Oil in it then it’s a no-no.
- You still need to choose the right product for your skin type; they can still cause irritation if it’s too strong for your complexion.
- It won’t necessarily stop acne, which can be down to issues other than blocked pores; for example hormones.
- Just because a product is comodegenic, it isn’t a given that it will congest the skin.
