Men vs Women in the Grooming Stakes
A new study has found that men spend longer getting ready than women, despite popular belief. Men spend a total of 83 minutes a day on personal grooming, such as cleansing, toning and moisturising, shaving, styling hair and choosing clothes. Women have their take nearly 5 minutes less, spending 79 minutes on personal grooming.
The survey questioned 3000 people in Britain and found that the average man spends just 19p less a month on grooming products than a woman.
Furthermore, men spend an average of 23 minutes in the shower – a minute longer than the fairer sex. When questioned on how long they take to get ready, one in three men said say they didn’t see why they shouldn’t take as long as women.
