Jessica Simpson has made a brave move this month, appearing on the cover of Marie Claire’s US edition  without makeup or any airbrushing. Have a look at the cover image, isn’t it great?

Jessica’s been gaining column inches in the tabloids lately for her relationships and also for her fluctuating body weight. Her new TV show The Price of Beauty (which is yet to be aired in the UK) shows Simpson travelling the world exploring how different nations think of beauty. She has accredited the show for making her feel more confident.

I think the cover is a refreshing change and looks fantastic – I’d love to see more magazines taking a similar approach. What do you think?
