False eyelashes are hugely popular these days thanks to stars like Cheryl Cole and there have been a number of shapes and lengths come in and out of trend in the past few years. The newest lash trend to emerge after the 2010 Autumn Fashion shows is wearing false eyelashes upside down.

Makeup artist Alex Box created this look for Gareth Pugh’s show during Paris Fashion Week, adding a pair just above the lash line but upside down. The result was a dramatic, winged lid.
