The Guinness Book of Records is full of beauty related world records like the person with longest fingernails or hair, right now the American Seattle suburb of Sammamish is the latest to gain an entry in the book. Those with variation of the MC1R gene flocked to the suburb last weekend with one thing on their minds – to create the largest gathering of redheads in one location at a time.

They wanted to beat the previous record of 250 people. Dyed hair was not allowed, so 901 natural redheads made their efforts successful with people travelling far and wide to join in the fun.
