$35 million Hair

Paris Hilton is hitting the headlines again as she is being sued over a dispute regarding her hair extensions. HairTech International, the company behind DreamCatchers brand hair extensions, claims that Paris is in breach of contract. The company is suing her to the tune of $35 million.

When Paris cut her hair in 2008, HairTech International alleges, she wore another brand’s extensions – strictly forbidden in her contract with HairTech. They also say that her drug abuse case in South Africa and three-week jail term in 2007 damaged the brand’s sales.

The socialite’s lawyers say there is “no merit” to the case.
