In a recent interview with teen glossy, 17 Magazine, Katy Perry talked openly about her self confidence and how her fiance Russel Brand makes her feel better.
The pop star said “I don’t really feel pretty ever. Without makeup, I feel ugly. And so I would have to sleep with makeup on, or feel ugly and gross. He looks beyond all of that, which is such a win, because I’ve never felt that with anybody.”
It’s difficult to hear Katy, a very beautiful woman, say that she feels ugly without makeup and hugely irresponsible to say so in a young girls magazine where she has a lot of power to sway the readers, possibly making them think badly of themselves.
