Last week’s New York Time stated in an article by writer Ruth La Ferla that at this year’s Fashion Weeks “picking out just the right [nail] shade is what separates the terminally clueless from the cognoscenti.” These are fairly strong words but it appears to be true. Fashionable nails are now an accessory in themselves. Nail polish has even overtaken lipstick sales in popularity. Do you wear your nails as a trendy and fashionable accessory or is it simply a grooming habit?
