Wedding Beauty Pitfalls

Well, I’m now a married woman. I mentioned last eek that I was doing my own makeup, but I did my research first. Here are the makeup pitfalls to avoid when doing your own wedding makeup.

Don’t use light reflecting concealors. Put down the touch eclat… those highlighting under eye concealors reflect the bright light from flash photography and create panda eyes.

False lashes aren’t worth the effort. Shaking hands and eyelash glue don’t mix. Instead, curls the lashes and use a thickening mascara.

Dark lipstick is a no go. Opt for a neutral pink or peach lip, depending on which complements your skin tone. Dark lipstick can make skin looks sallow, stick to teeth and wears in an unflattering way, as well as making teeth appear more yellow.
