A Lithuanian firm has plans to open a resort on a private island in the Maldives, this may seem nothing out of the blue but the resort is to be staffed by blonde women alone. Olialia is the firm behind this head scratching plan and plans to open the resort infive years.

Female guests will be given the opportunity to head to an on-site education center, where they’ll learn “how to always be perfect and look great.” The resort is gaining a reputation as being as sexist, discriminatory, and strengthening stereotypes. Besides which, local laws state 50% of the staff must be locals – well, there’ll be a lot of bleach going around if that’s the case as it is not a golden headed area.

The company insists that it isn’t just about looks. “Our girls are very smart and they have degrees. All of them want to do something with their lives. They have lots of business ideas,” stated Olialia’s Giedre Pukiene.
