If you haven’t caught the latest buzz about Dior designer John Galliano, where have you been hiding for the last few days? The eccentric designer was suspended from the design house after drunkenly making anti-semitic remarks at a Parisian restaurant. A couple of days later, a video was produced which clearly showed Gallaino making more offensive remarks, stating he ‘loves Hitler’.

After Natalie Portman, a Jewish actress and poster girl for Dior, stated she was disgusted by his remarks and would not be associated with the designer it did not take long for Dior to drop Galliano completely.

Sidney Toledano, Dior’s president and CEO, stated: “I condemn most firmly the statements made by John Galliano which are a total contradiction with the essential values that have always been defended by the House of Christian Dior.”
