The Shade of the Season?

I don’t quite know how they did it but Chanel have managed to cement themselves as the go-to brand for must-have seasonal nail colours. It all started with the Jade hue, which caused a frenzy of people rushing to buy the varnish and even saw the item selling it and going for extortionate prices on [...]

Haircut Stress

I just recently had my hair cut, something which I am always loathe to do. I find the whole process horribly stressful after more than my fair share of disasters at the salon. I came across this hilarious graph on The Gloss and just had to share it with you. Do you agree that going [...]

Signature Beauty Looks

Many celebrities are well known for having a signature beauty look. For Angelina Jolie it’s her perfect cat’s eye, Gwen Stefani has her bold red lip and Lauren Conrad has the small side plait. The systems micro-massage with an oscillating brush, raising the circulation, cleaning and ‘polishing’ skin; in doing so it delivers a toned flush and diminishes pores [...]

Amazing Makeup

Meet Alex Ebert, lead singer of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros – he’s hiding in this picturesque little outdoor scene. This amazing makeup look was created by makeup artist William Lemon III for the band’s music video. The ‘manscapes’ as William calls them are pretty extraordinary, don’t you think?

Quick Tip

Do you have trouble keeping your skin hydrated? You could be eating the wrong things, or more likely missing out on a vital skin-loving food. Ditch alcohol and sugar which dries out the complexion and load up on avocado and nuts which contain healthy fats which keep the skin hydrated and plump. Easy!

Bobbi Brown for the Wedding?

Kate Middleton is yet to confirm whether or not she applied her own makeup for the Royal Wedding as rumoured, but one thing seems to be for sure: the makeup used for the bridal party, including Kate, was Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. In a status update on the company’s Facebook page, a slightly mysterious statement was [...]
