What do you think of this crafty advertisement from Gilette? Moving away from their typical ‘shaving at a sink and having your face stroked by a beautiful woman’ ads, Gillette has gone for something different. And it involves a high-powered electron microscope.
The company used an advanced, expensive microscope to etch ad slogans into actual tiny beard hairs a Gillette user had shaved off. The images were then blown up for the adverts.
