From one nail polish story to another, Karl Lagerfeld is working on a side project at the moment which may be surprising to some. He is said to be working with French luxury goods brand S.T. Dupont to create a range of stylish highlighters and pens. These pens however have an unusual twist. Karl, who famously uses Shu Uemura nail polish to sketch his designs, has reportedly incorporated the polish into the ink of the pen to create a “burgundy lacquer,” according to WWD. The writing instruments themselves are said to be  “fan-shaped” so that they fit neatly between fingers and won’t roll off of your desk.
