Quick Tip – Blisters

Whether you were in the Great North Run this weekend or simply squeezing your feet into heels that were too small, you may well have a blister on your feet today. It can be hard to know what to do with a blister to help it heal nicely without causing more pain or risk scarring your feet. I suggest to leave it well alone – that means, don’t try to pop or touch it! Rub a thin layer of antibacterial cream like Savlon over the top before applying a specialised blister plaster. Don’t forget to remove the plaster every few hours or when convenient to let the blister get some air. The blister will soon go down and heal well.
