Refinery29 is always a great place to discover insider beauty tricks and the website recently asked some of the beauty industry’s most influential people for their tips.
My favourite piece of advice is from Eugene Souleiman the Global Creative Director for Wella. He told Refinery29 “For great curls, Eugene say you must have moisture in your hair. Nourish your ends with a hair mask once a week to keep it healthy and hydrated. You also need to apply a silicone-based product to your ends to keep frizz at bay. Blow dry your hair before you start curling it, so that you have more control over the style. Finally, Eugene says to keep the curling iron on your hair long enough to actually heat your strands up. You don’t want to fry your ends, but if the hair isn’t hot, the curl isn’t going to stay.”
