At the start of this year, Lady Gaga asked her fans (which she calls her little monsters) and MAC makeup fans to submit self-portraits which could potentially be printed on the fabric of ‘The Masterpiece’ which is a gown created by Gaga’s stylist and designer, Nicola Formichetti. The Masterpiece has now been finished and is shown off in this short film. Working in conjunction with MAC’s Viva Glam campaign, the goal of creating this dress was to build awareness of HIV/AIDS.
