Are you washing your hair properly? It may sound like a silly question, but you’d be surprised how many people get it wrong.

Make sure you thoroughly soak your hair in water and when you apply shampoo, spread it across your fingers first. Then, use the ends of your fingers to rub the shampoo into the scalp, where dirt and oil collects. Make sure you remember to get the side and underneath the hair, at the back of the head. You should never apply shampoo to the ends of the hair as it will dry them out.
